The location is great, away from the hustle yet close to attractions like Lake Rotorua and the Redwoods Treewalk. While the cabins were spacious, the overgrown grounds and poor maintenance were disappointing. The highlights were the friendly hosts, relaxing lake swimming, and decent kitchen amenities, but the unresponsive management regarding noise complaints was frustrating.

The location was perfect and excellant for exploring this leisure area, near Right at lakeside as well as a quiet suburb. Our family room came with with heating, comfortable beds, a full sized fridge.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were dishonest.

The location is really great for families, with beautiful views and plenty of activities nearby. The cabins are spacious and clean. Some areas could use a little more attention, and our check-in experience was a bit rocky. A nice spot for a getaway!

great. two really warm pools with thermal water, one outside and one inside in an extra hut. And there's the lake right outside the door. That's as good as it gets.

The Cedarwood Lakeside Motel & Conference Venue offers a fantastic location just outside of the busier town center of Rotorua, providing stunning views of the lake. Guests can enjoy being so close to the shores of the lake, where they have access to a platform for swimming and jumping in, as well as nearby restaurants and stores. the motel also has a communal BBQ for a great breakfast experience.
